CONFUGURATION AND PROCEDURE

"Easywiriter".  The software is provided by Novatek to upgrade the
firware of CPU.  It is a Windows based programme, which cannot be run in
MS-DOS. DDC2B1_ISP TOOL [3138 106 10396] is the interface between
"Parallel Port PC" and "15 pin D-SUB connector of monitor.



SYSTEM AND EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENT


  1. An i486 or above personal computer or compact.

  2. Microsoft O/S Windows 95 / 98 / 2000 / XP.

  3. ISP software. [Easy-writer].

  4. DDC2B1_ISP TOOL [3138 106 10396].

  5. Connect the  DDC2B1_ISP TOOL and mains cord to monitor.


Install and setup Easywiriter program.


  1. make a folder in your PC.

  2. Copy ISP software, Easywriter into that folder

  3. Copy the FL1_NAFTA_26_V120_3A10.hex to C:\26MF605W-17


UPDATE FIRMWARE


  • Doubleclick the Easywriter.exe icon in the desktop.

  • Press the Load hex then select FL1_NAFTA_26_V120_3A10

  • Press AUTO to running program firmware to be updated.

  • Press the File-->exit to end the program.


If there is a warning message coming, you have to check the AC power, video cable or Novatek MCU.

CHECK THE FIRMWARE VERSION


  1. Turn OFF the monitor.

  2. Press "Power" button and then quickly push [Volume -ve and Volume
    +ve], and hold these two buttons.  The screen comes out "Waiting for
    Automatic Adjustment".  then the screen will go black  for one second,
    until comes out "Windows screen"]=>, then release these two buttons.
    Then press the "Menu" button , wait until the OSD menu.  You will find,
    after upgrade the version have already changed from The former F1/FL1
    NAFTA V1.20.1 050120 Lg26LC260WX2.

  3. Turn OFF the monitor to exit the factory mode.
